I would def recommend getting the side panel also. Just make sure you find a retailer, with good customer service, so that you wont have any problems if you need to claim your 2 year warranty! I am sure that the 'quality issues' will be sorted out in future batches, as it is a quite easy fix. I would not want to play with another type of wheel. The sticks and button set up for this wheel is a game changer for me. It gives a lot to think about.Dont waste your money on the steering wheel im currently on the 5th one since november, the panel is awesome but the wheel has the same kind of build quality as something you would buy in a pound shop!

Thanks in advance i have a g29 whole set, had it for 3 years for now and to be honest i still regret not buying a g27 with a shifter, the g27 shifter is way better as the buttons are way easier to access, on g29 you have all the buttons on the steering wheel and when you have to react quick or you need to use the buttons while driving then its pretty hard or even impossible while steering, still havnt got used to it and to be honest ive given up on it and bought a joystick and a button box, but with other games the g29 is just wonderful, it aint the best option for farming sim but overall g29 is better than most steering wheels but if you ONLY play farming sim with a steering wheel then id say get a g27 with a shifter as it saves u money, youd get some extra buttons with that and + joystick would be enough, you wouldnt have to spend any money on a extra button box but its mainly up to you, if youd like to have the best experience for gaming with a logitech steering wheels then id recommend g29 + g27 shifter, also if you are going to get the g29 then use 'Logitech G Hub' program as the logitech gaming software does not work anymore, at least for me and g hub saves your settings automatically and applies them every time you turn ur pc on so you dont have to open up the program every time you start ur fs, also you can make each game a different profile so when u launch the game then that games g hub profile automatically launches with the game and the different settings profile would be applied (the method i use for ets2 and fs22) Which set would you choose, I would be grateful for some advice because I don't know myself and it will be my first PC steering wheel.
